The SMTeam is proud to support Love In A Big World! Having witnessed first-hand the adverse effects of generational poverty within Affordable Housing, a conscious effort was made to seek out a proven program that would positively impact the epidemic with traceable results. Love In A Big World is a children’s character education curriculum.
Using Social and Emotional Learning as its core, children are provided the tools to expand their heart while developing their mind. The skills obtained through this curriculum play a significant role in providing a child the encouragement and confidence they need to be resilient as they set life goals to transform themselves and their community.
Our Team believes the most effective way to eliminate generational poverty is to impact the hearts of the children. The SMTeam encourages Affordable Housing entities to begin a new and refreshing approach to community transformation by exploring the use of the Love In A Big World Curriculum within its afterschool and summer programs.
